Philip Broadley gets Group FD job at Old Mutual
Old Mutual plc has announced the appointment of Philip Broadley as Group Finance Director. He will succeed Jonathan Nicholls, who is leaving the company in order to pursue interests outside the life insurance sector.
Philip was previously Group Finance Director of Prudential plc from 2000 until March 2008. Prior to joining Prudential, he was a Partner at Arthur Andersen, the top-five global accountancy firm, from 1993 to 2000. He has also been Chairman of the 100 Group of Finance Directors for two years, was a founding member and trustee of the CFO Forum of European Insurance Company Finance Directors and was also a member of the IASB’s Insurance Working Group.
Philip Broadley, who joins the Company on 10 November, will be appointed to the Old Mutual Board as an Executive Director at that time. He will also join the Group Executive Committee.
