Adam Halpern promoted to equity partnership at Fenwick & West
Fenwick & West LLP announced that it has elected four associates to join the Firm’s partnership, effective January 1, 2009. The new equity partners include Adam Halpern,
a member of Fenwick’s Tax group.
Adam’s practice focuses on representing companies in U.S. tax planning and tax controversy, with an emphasis on cross-border transactions, restructurings, and disputes. He has substantial experience in developing international legal and operational structures that provide tax efficiencies for business. He has successfully represented clients in federal tax controversies at all levels, including IRS Examination, IRS Appeals, and the U.S. Tax Court. Mr. Halpern is a frequent speaker on U.S. international tax rules and developments, and has published numerous articles in leading tax journals. He graduated summa cum laude from Hastings College of the Law and has an A.B. in philosophy from Princeton University.
