BMW has announced that Dr. Friedrich Eichiner (53) will assume responsibility for the Finance Division with immediate effect. Dr. Michael Ganal (54) occupied this position from October 2007 and will remain a member of the Board of Management of BMW AG


Dr. Eichiner has been leading the Corporate and Brand Development Division since October 2007 and has also been managing the Finance Division temporarily for several months while Dr. Ganal has been absent due to illness.
