Loughton based, top 40 UK Firm of chartered accountants and business advisers, Haslers, has announced the appointment of Senior Tax Partner, Martin Anderson, as the firm´s new Chairman.

Martin joined Haslers in 1981 and was made a partner in 1983 advising personal and corporate clients on a very wide range of tax issues. Over the past 27 years, he has been instrumental in developing the firm´s tax consultancy division which is now widely recognised as one of the leading tax practices in the UK. This is further supported by the firms other departments such as corporate finance, audit & business services, insolvency & recovery and forensic accounting.

Martin´s role will see him chair the firm´s management board and take over the role of spokesperson, previously held by retiring Managing Partner, Stanley Baskin.

Commenting on his appointment, Martin says “I am thoroughly looking forward to taking on this new challenge and working together with each partner and member of staff to take Haslers forward to its next phase of growth and success.”
