Richard Wild joins PKF as VAT Director

PKF Accountants & business advisers has appointed Richard Wild as Director of VAT for the East Anglia region.

Richard, who brings around 20 years’ accounting experience to the role, is responsible for all VAT issues across PKF’s offices in Ipswich, Norwich and Great Yarmouth.

A VAT specialist for almost 12 years, his experience covers a broad number of areas, including partial exemption, property and construction, betting and gaming, landfill tax and dispute resolution.

Formerly a senior manager with PwC in London, Richard specialised in Indirect Tax litigation and worked on a variety of cases including Baxi Group Limited, Camden Motors (Holdings) Limited and Waste Recycling Group Limited.

His past experience also includes a period of time with HMRC in London, as an Anti-Avoidance Adviser.

A keen writer, Richard also co-authored the Indirect Tax Case Alerter articles, which are published in the Tax Journal on a regular basis.
