South African Law Firm, Webber Wentzel, lures KPMG Tax/TP Partner

Michael Honiball, one of South Africa’s top tax lawyers, has joined Webber Wentzel, SA’s leading corporate law firm, as a partner in the corporate tax practice in Johannesburg.

Honiball joins Webber Wentzel from the 1st October 2008 from KPMG where he is Head of Transfer Pricing for South Africa.

His expertise is in international tax, particularly cross-border structuring for corporates and high net-worth individuals.

Prior to KPMG, Honiball was a partner at Arthur Andersen for 4 years.

Honiball further enhances a tax team which already includes Des Kruger, Mark Linington and Ian MacKenzie as leading tax specialists recognised by international legal directories including Chambers Global, PLC’s Which Lawyer and International Tax Review.
