Mark L. Nachbar Joins Ryan as Principal
Ryan, the leading tax services firm in North America, with the largest transaction tax practice in the United States and Canada, today announced that Mark L. Nachbar has joined the Firm as Principal. Mr. Nachbar will provide leadership and expertise to support Ryan’s rapidly growing Multistate Income Tax practice. He will be based in the Chicago, Illinois office.
Mr. Nachbar is a recognized tax industry expert and serves as an advisory board member for the Center for Multistate Taxation at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee; the Multistate Corporate Tax Guide; the Journal of State Taxation; and the Multistate Tax Advisory Board for Tax Management, Inc. For more than 25 years, he has represented premier Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries and jurisdictions on a broad array of multistate tax matters.
Prior to joining Ryan, Mr. Nachbar was Managing Director for a large accounting and business services firm, and a Tax Services Partner for a national accounting firm. Mr. Nachbar has a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois College of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Tulane University.
