Ian Walker leaves PwC for Smith & Williamson’s Tax Investigations team
Ian Walker has joined Smith & Williamson, the leading accountancy, tax and investment management group, as a Senior Manager within the tax investigation team. He will be a national resource based in the Bristol office, representing clients in dealing with a wide range of tax enquiries. Ian has a particular specialism in dealing with tax enquiries into film related investments.
Ian joins after 10 years with PwC where he was a senior manager in its London tax investigations team. Ian is a former HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) inspector.
Commenting on his appointment Ian said: “I‘m really pleased to have joined an experienced team which provides a comprehensive service to individuals and companies. Smith & Williamson has a fantastic client base and I am looking forward to helping Sue to expand Smith &Williamson’s national tax investigations offering.”
