Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP welcomes John T. Woodruff as a partner in the Tax Practice Group in the Houston office.

[private]Woodruff had previously been with the firm from 2004 to 2008, then joined the international corporate services tax practice at KPMG LLP.

Woodruff now returns to Gardere, and his practice will emphasize International Tax and Transfer Pricing, and he has also had extensive experience structuring acquisitions, dispositions, public offerings, reorganizations, restructurings, repatriations, and insolvency transactions.

Woodruff has represented strategic clients in a broad range of industries and has particular experience with multinational oil and gas exploration and production companies. He also has represented private equity investors and targets structuring venture capital and mezzanine investments.
