Orrick hires tax partner for Frankfurt office
Orrick Hölters & Elsing announced today that on April 1, 2010 [private]Jutta Schneider will join the firm as partner in its Tax Group, resident in Frankfurt.
“As corporate and M&A activity begins to revive, having high-quality, global tax support is absolutely critical for the growth of our corporate finance practice,” said George Wolf, chair of Orrick’s Tax Group. “Jutta is an experienced tax lawyer with a valuable mix of both cross-border finance and corporate tax work.”

Previously with Clifford Chance and its German predecessor firm Pünder, Volhard, Weber & Axster for more than 17 years, Jutta Schneider has a wide range of experience advising on German and international finance and corporate related tax matters.

Jutta Schneider is admitted to practice as attorney-at-law in Germany and New York and as a German tax advisor. She attended law school at Philipps University in Marburg, Germany and earned her LL.M. degree from the University of Virginia in 1991.[/private]
