Decosimo principal appointed President of TSCPA
Kimberly A. Lawrence, CPA, tax principal in charge at Joseph Decosimo and Company, PLLC in Chattanooga, has been appointed [private]president of the Chattanooga chapter of Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).
Ms. Lawrence will serve as president of TSCPA’s 900-member Chattanooga chapter until April 2011.
Ms. Lawrence, a certified public accountant, has more than 20 years experience in tax practice, which includes review of partnership, corporate, state, consolidated, and individual tax returns, tax planning, and tax consultation. She is a graduate of Rhode Island College and has also completed the nationally recognized Rainmaker Academy Program.
Besides her involvement with professional associations such as the TSCPA and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ms. Lawrence is also a member of the Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute, the Rotary Club and is a graduate of Leadership Chattanooga. She previously served as a Board member of Girls, Inc. and as a campaign cabinet volunteer with the United Way of Greater Chattanooga.[/private]
