Tal Kaissar promoted to VP & Director of Taxes at AIG

American International Group, Inc. (AIG) announced today that the AIG Board of Directors has elected William N. Dooley AIG Executive Vice President, Financial Services. The Board also elected Mark Herr AIG Vice President, Corporate Media Relations, and Tal Kaissar AIG Vice President and Director of Taxes.

As AIG Vice President and Director of Taxes, Mr. Kaissar has accounting, reporting, and transactional responsibilities for all aspects of AIG taxation worldwide. He reports to David L. Herzog, AIG Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Kaissar joined AIG’s Corporate Tax group in 2007 as Director, Tax Operations. He had previously served as Co-Head of Global Tax Accounting for Citigroup, which he joined after serving in progressively responsible tax roles in Ernst & Young’s Financial Services practice, including tax Senior Manager. Mr. Kaissar earned his B.S. from Rutgers University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
