State income tax specialist Bertino offered job at True Partners
True Partners Consulting LLC announces Tom Bertino, 50, as managing director of its Los Angeles office.
Bertino has more than 20 years of experience in state income tax issues, including multistate income franchise taxes, jurisdiction to tax, tax base, apportionment of income, unitary taxation, business/non-business income, state filing options and federal and state income tax incentives. His clients have included Fortune 500 and mid-size companies in such diverse industries as manufacturing, retail, financial services, real estate, and transportation.

In addition to serving clients within the state income tax industry, Bertino will provide a range of consulting services, including mergers and acquisition transactions, state tax accrual reviews, and representation for companies before state tax authorities and administrative boards.

Prior to joining True Partners Consulting, Bertino worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG in Los Angeles and Costa Mesa, California.
Bertino received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from University of Arizona and received a Juris Doctorate degree from the Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. He is a member of the California State Bar.
