Chantrey Vellacott DFK appoints international tax partner
Fiona Cross (46) has advised on corporate tax for nearly 20 years and specialises in international tax issues for both foreign companies coming inbound to the UK and Europe and for UK companies expanding overseas.
Cross also has substantial experience in corporate reorganisation, restructuring, acquisitions, disposals and transfer pricing and joins the 350-strong firm following three years as associate tax partner at Vantis.
She has also enjoyed spells with Ernst & Young and RSM Robson Rhodes and will work closely with the DFK International partners across the UK and internationally.
“I specialise in an expanding area and one in which Chantrey Vellacott DFK is extremely active. The firm has a great pool of expertise in international tax and business and I hope to draw that together and expand our client base,” she said. “I will also be working with CV Capital – the firm’s specialist corporate finance division – which is active in helping clients in their expansion plans.”
Cross, who lives in Cambridge, came to accountancy late after qualifying in social care and has worked at Broadmoor and Rampton secure hospitals.
