Daszkal Bolton promotes Mark Chaves

Daszkal Bolton LLP, one of the leading certified public accounting firms in South Florida, has announced the promotion of Mark A. Chaves, CPA, to Partner in the Firm’s International Tax Services Department.

Mark has over sixteen years experience in public accounting and is responsible for assisting corporate and individual clients with domestic and international tax planning and compliance issues. His focus is working with multinational corporations to manage complex cross border direct and indirect tax issues, foreign tax credit and repatriation planning, reorganizations, expatriate and “inpatriate” tax issues and SFAS 109 and FIN 48 reporting. Mark also assists foreign individuals with international estate planning, inbound tax structuring, structuring of investments in US real property and pre-immigration planning as well as US individuals with cross border income tax issues, income tax filing and FBAR compliance. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Queens College of the City of New York and a Master of Science in Taxation from Florida International University. Mark is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant through the State of Florida.
