John Ryan relocates to New York office of Matheson Ormsby Prentice

Matheson Ormsby Prentice, Ireland’s largest law firm, has announced the expansion of its New York office.

John Ryan, who is widely acknowledged as one of Ireland’s leading international tax advisers, is re-locating to the firm’s New York office in June 2011.

John has more than 20 years’ experience advising international companies doing business in and through Ireland. He will lead a team of tax, corporate and financial services lawyers which will be based in the firm’s US offices and which will focus on advising US companies and financial institutions doing business in and through Ireland.

MOP opened its first office in the US fifteen years ago in Palo Alto in California and is the only Irish professional services firm with a presence on both the East and West Coasts of the US. The expansion of its New York office will make MOP the largest Irish law firm in the US and will further enhance its unrivalled offering to US companies doing business in and through Ireland.
