David Klass makes partnership at Gide
Gide Loyrette Nouel (‘Gide’) has announced the appointment of a new tax partner effective from 1 April 2011.
David Klass is a member of Gide’s London Tax practice where he advises on a wide range of corporate tax issues and transactions, in particular those with an international element. He has extensive experience of cross-border M&A transactions, structured finance (clients include originators of assets, arrangers of structured financings and a broad range of investors), and the UK and international tax aspects of corporate group reorganisations. He gained a BA in French and German from Oxford University (1998) before passing the Common Professional Examination (1999) and the Legal Practice Course (2000) at the College of Law, London. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2003 and began his career as a trainee and then associate at Slaughter and May.
