Leading Wealth Management Lawyer, Thomas Martin Branden Salmon, Joins Baker & McKenzie in Zurich from Citi Trust
Baker & McKenzie will strengthen its Wealth Management practice as of 4 July 2011, with the addition of Thomas Martin Branden Salmon as Of Counsel in its Zurich office.
Mr. Salmon brings to the Firm 35 years of experience in international trust and estate planning, international sovereign risk management, international tax planning, corporate strategic planning, and strategic project management. Previously, he served as the Chief International Trust Officer at Citi Trust, Citi Private Bank for 10 years.
“Thomas’ decades of experience and outstanding reputation in the field of international wealth and estate planning, international trusts and international tax advice will be a major asset to us and a benefit to our clients,” said Marnin Michaels, Baker & McKenzie partner and head of the Wealth Management practice in Zurich.
Mr. Salmon received his law degree from the University of Virginia and his undergraduate degree from Colgate University. He also served as a US Naval Officer until 1975.
