Michael Katz Joins Willkie’s Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Department
Willkie has announced that Michael A. Katz has joined the firm’s Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Department as a partner in the New York office, effective June 1, 2011. Mr. Katz advises publicly traded and privately held clients on ERISA, tax and related corporate, federal and state securities laws affecting employee benefit plans, programs and arrangements. He has significant experience working on mergers and acquisitions, and drafting and negotiating the terms and conditions of corporate transaction documents, individual employee agreements, consulting agreements, change-in-control agreements and severance agreements.
Mr. Katz was formerly with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.
