Morgan Holmes (ex PwC) and Bill Amon (ex Deloitte) join LA office of WTAS as MDs in Commercial Tax Practice
Morgan Holmes, a former Tax Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Bill Amon, a former Client Service Partner at Deloitte Tax LLC, recently joined the Los Angeles office of WTAS as Managing Directors in the Commercial Tax Practice.
Bill has more than 30 years of experience in corporate and international taxation. He served as the national tax industry leader for technology, media, and telecom during his tenure at Deloitte Tax. Bill was recognized as one of the Top Tax Advisors in North America in 1998, 1999 and 2001 by the International Tax Review, and by Euromoney Magazine for years 2003-2008. He is also a frequent speaker on issues affecting corporate taxation.
Morgan has over 14 years of public accounting experience. He is experienced in tax consulting and compliance engagements for partnerships, S corporations and corporations (ranging from start-ups to large publicly held, multinational corporations) in the retail and consumer, hospitality, pharmaceutical, energy/utility, private equity, manufacturing, construction and service industries. He served as the tax director lead of the Southern California retail and consumer practice during his tenure at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
