PwC Denver makes up two new tax partners: John Kulich and Todd Roberts
PwC US is strengthening its capabilities in Denver with the promotion of two tax specialists to partner and the addition of three key partner hires, the firm announced today. John Kulich, an international tax specialist, and Todd Roberts, a state and local tax specialist, will be admitted to the partnership effective July 1, while Ken O’Neal, Michael Ebedes, and Keith Parsons have joined from other Denver accounting firms, bringing nearly 60 years of combined industry experience to PwC.

Following are details on each of the new partners:
John Kulich is a tax partner with more than 14 years of experience in international taxation. His specialties include tax efficient structuring and financing for US inbound and outbound investment, intellectual property structuring, value chain transformation, foreign tax credit planning, and repatriation. Kulich has served as a specialist at PwC’s US tax desk in London and also worked in the firm’s National Tax office in Washington, D.C.
Todd Roberts is a tax partner and leader of PwC’s State and Local Tax Services group in Denver. He has more than 16 years of state tax experience, with extensive work in the telecommunications field. His primary areas of focus are corporate state income and franchise taxes. Roberts also advises clients on sales and use taxes, payroll taxes and unemployment taxes.
Ken O’Neal is a tax partner with broad experience assisting multinational and multistate clients of all sizes. He specializes in corporate and partnership compliance and consulting, as well as mergers and acquisitions, asset divestitures and accounting for income tax. At PwC, O’Neal will focus on privately-owned and clean tech industry clients.
Michael Ebedes, an assurance partner, brings significant international experience, having worked with clients in the United Kingdom, Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Poland, Korea, China, Japan and South Africa. Ebedes has also worked extensively with a variety of private companies in the United States. In his new role, he will team with Ken O’Neal to address the needs of PwC’s privately-owned clients.
Keith Parsons is an assurance partner with expertise serving companies in diverse industries, including software, high-tech, manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, consumer products, retail, healthcare and renewable energy. He has worked on both public and private companies in all stages of growth, from start-ups to SEC registrants. Parsons will serve as PwC’s lead technology partner in Colorado and will continue to build the firm’s local clean tech practice.
In addition to the new partners, PwC also recently completed a move to a new, customized workspace in Lodo that caters to today’s highly mobile worker. It features “speed desks” throughout all floors and an enhanced wireless network that enables people to stay connected anywhere on the premises. The new building, located at 1900 16th Street, is also pursuing Gold LEED certification.
