Tax Partner Carola van den Bruinhorst to lead new Hong Kong office for Loyens & Loeff

Loyens & Loeff has opened a new office in Hong Kong as of 16 January 2012. This 18th office of Loyens & Loeff will be led by two senior partners: tax adviser Carola van den Bruinhorst and attorney Thierry Lohest. The office will also be staffed with (senior) associates. Loyens & Loeff Hong Kong advises international clients on international tax (re)structurings, M&A, investment management, banking and finance and wealth management. With our new office in Hong Kong, our offices in Singapore and Tokyo, we are further strengthening our presence in the Far East region.

Carola van den Bruinhorst (1965), tax adviser, is a member of the Tax practice group, and heads the Hong Kong office since 2012. She advises internationally operating groups and funds on their Dutch, EU or other international acquisitions, and other cross-border transactions, such as corporate restructurings, refinancing, and joint ventures. Previously she worked in Milan, New York and Amsterdam.

Carola frequently lectures and publishes on international tax planning, often for the International Bar Association, where she currently serves as a member of the Legal Practice Division Council.
