Elizabeth Mullen and Lawrence A. Litt get partnership at Marcum

Marcum LLP, one of the nation’s largest accounting and business advisory firms, today announced two new Partners in the Tax & Business Services Department of the Firm’s New York City headquarters office.  Elizabeth Mullen and Lawrence A. Litt are key leaders in the department’s Corporate Taxation Group, which handles all aspects of tax compliance and planning for both large and mid-size SEC reporting companies as well as privately held companies.

Elizabeth (Liz) Mullen has more than 25 years of tax experience with specific expertise in corporate tax planning and compliance for international, federal, state and local issues. She specializes in providing outsourced tax department services to both public and private clients including accounting for income taxes, transaction planning and due diligence.  Prior to joining Marcum in 2007, Ms. Mullen worked in the private sector as Vice President of Tax for an international luxury goods group. Previously she was a tax executive at a multinational consumer products company. Ms. Mullen also worked in “Big 4” public accounting firms for 12 years. She is a resident of Lawrence, NY.

Lawrence (Lonnie) Litt joined the Firm in August 2012 with more than 16 years of experience in tax advisory services, tax structuring, and tax compliance. Mr. Litt specializes in tax matters associated with mergers and acquisitions. Previously, he worked at a “Big 4” accounting firm in the Corporate Tax and Mergers & Acquisitions Tax practices, as well as in the Exempt Organizations Tax practice, where he was a Managing Director.  Mr. Litt is a resident of Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey.
