Joanne Hodge returns to Bell Gully after 2 years in Oz
Bell Gully welcomes the New Year with the appointment of three new partners, with effect from 1 January 2013.
Joanne is a New Zealand taxation specialist advising on all aspects of corporate taxation for public and private companies and financial institutions. She advises on trusts and asset protection and on investment in New Zealand for non-residents.
Joanne advises on employee share schemes, trans-Tasman tax issues, corporate reorganisations and establishing operations in New Zealand. She also advises on Inland Revenue disputes and obtains tax rulings for clients from the Inland Revenue Department.
Previously a partner at Bell Gully, Joanne returns to the firm in 2013, bringing with her extensive experience advising on managed investment funds, securitisations, various cross-border leasing and finance structures, and joint ventures involving either New Zealand or foreign participants in the acquisition of assets.
Joanne is a member of the New Zealand branch of the International Fiscal Association.
