Ulises Castilla-Flores joins Bakers in Mexico City office
Baker & McKenzie has announced that Ulises Castilla-Flores has joined the Firm as a Tax partner in its Mexico City office, thus bolstering the multidisciplinary team of professionals that make up one of the Firm’s largest practice groups in Mexico. Prior to this integration, Mr. Castilla was the Central Litigation Administrator of Large Taxpayers for the Tax Administration Service, a decentralized body of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit.

Mr. Castilla brings to Baker & McKenzie more than 20 years of experience of active participation in tax strategies for the business sector, and has also garnered years of experience as a litigator in the private and public sectors. He earned his Law Degree from the Universidad Tecnológica de México, a Tax Law Master’s Degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, as well as an International Business Law Degree from the Universidad Tecnológica de México where he completed post-graduate studies in labor law. Mr. Castilla also completed post-graduate studies on constitutional law in the Universidad Panamericana in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
