David Haworth is new head of London tax at Freshfields
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has appointed David Haworth as head of its London tax practice. Beginning a three year term he succeeds partner Sarah Falk<
David works with UK and foreign based clients, primarily in the financial services sector, on the tax aspects of complex financing transactions, derivatives, debt and equity capital markets work and in relation to disputes with tax authorities. David is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has worked at a senior level in investment banking.
Commenting on the appointment, Will Lawes, senior partner at Freshfields, said: ‘Sarah has done a fantastic job over the past couple of years. David is an ideal candidate to succeed her as head of our London tax practice.
