Ellen MacNeil joins WTAS (from Deloitte) to lead the Firm’s National Tax Office

Ellen MacNeil recently joined WTAS in Washington, D.C. as Managing Director and leader of the firm’s National Tax Office.

Ellen has over 30 years of experience in tax consulting for major U.S. businesses and previously held several key leadership positions within the public accounting industry. Before joining WTAS, Ellen was a Partner with Deloitte Tax LLP in the Washington National Tax Office. Prior to Deloitte, she led the National Office Domestic Tax Practice at Arthur Andersen. Ellen was a member of the Board of Directors of the Tax Council. She also served as Chair of the ABA Taxation Section’s Tax Accounting Committee and of the AICPA’s Tax Accounting Committee. Ellen also chaired the ABA Taxation Section’s Committee on Government Submissions and served as a member of the Executive Committee of the AICPA’s Tax Division.
