PwC Missouri admits new tax partner, Mike Baltzell

PwC US has announced that 2 tax professionals from its Missouri market have been admitted into the firm’s partnership, effective July 1, 2013.

Mike Baltzell was admitted as a tax partner. Baltzell has over 14 years of experience providing a variety of tax compliance and consulting services to large privately held companies, private equity groups and high net worth individuals. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Missouri and Illinois and his qualifications include a master’s of accountancy with a specialization in taxation from Southern Illinois University–Carbondale.

Brian W. Bernert was admitted as a tax principal. Bernert specializes in state and local income/franchise tax engagements and provides services in the areas of state and local income/franchise taxation, sales/use taxation, and credits/incentives on a multi-state basis. Bernert received a bachelor’s degree in finance from The Ohio State University and a juris doctorate degree from Capital University Law School. He is licensed to practice law in Ohio.
