Diana Wollman resigns from Sullivan & Cromwell to join IRS
Diana Wollman has joined the IRS as Director, International Strategy and will report to Mike Danilack, Deputy Commissioner (International).
Diana will serve as the principal advisor to the Deputy Commissioner (International) on a wide range of high-level and sensitive international issues and will oversee the development and implementation of all aspects of our international strategic program, including risk assessment, data management, trend analysis, training, and knowledge management capabilities. Diana will also assist in developing and maintaining key contacts outside the Service.
Diana has been a tax partner with Sullivan & Cromwell in the New York office for the past 13 years. She has specialized in the tax aspects of complex international transactions, managing tax audits and controversies, and handling clients’ other interactions with tax authorities. She is currently the Chair of the New York State Bar Association Tax Section and previously she was an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University School of Law.
