Stephen Herring joins Institute of Directors as Head of Tax (Policy)

The IoD has hired Stephen Herring as its Head of Tax, effective Sept 2013. Stephen is based within the Policy Unit and will focus upon the impact of tax policies introduced by HM Government and the need for additional reforms to promote UK economic growth.

 

Mr Herring retired as a tax partner from BDO in July 2011 and was the Firm’s tax spokesperson for over a decade. He continues to be a member of HM Treasury’s Tax Professional Forum, which he joined in 2010.
