Australian Law Firm Kelly & Co appoints former PwC OMP, Jim McMillan, as Head of Tax

Jim McMillan, who until September 2012 was a tax partner and office managing partner at PwC Adelaide, has joined Kelly & Co. He joins as Special Counsel and Head of Tax.

Mr McMillan started his career with the ATO where he spent 10 years before moving to PwC, initially as a senior manager. He was made a partner in 1998 and managing partner in 2002. He has been actively involved in managing tax audit and dispute matters, as well as a number of tax appeals matters before the Australian Administrative Appeals Tribunal, the Federal Court and the High Court. He also has extensive M&A experience, having worked on numerous cross-border transactions and in conducting tax due diligence.

Established in Adelaide in 1917, Kelly & Co. is a major Australian firm, providing legal services in South Australia as well as nationally and internationally.
