Betsy-Ann Howe has moved from Sparke Helmore to join K&L Gates as a tax partner in the Sydney office.

With more than 25 years of experience, Howe is highly regarded as a leading corporate and international tax and tax controversy lawyer. She counsels on tax effective structured finance transactions and cross-border leasings, along with tax implications for M&A transactions.

Somewhat unusually for a tax lawyer, she has worked in-house as well as in practice. From 2005 to 2007 she was Head of Tax at Allco Finance Group.
