Mark Bevington resigns from EY to join Baker & McKenzie in London

In baker mckenzie, Ernst Young, EY

Legalweek reported today that Mark Bevington is leaving EY to join Baker & McKenzie in London. Mr Bevington is not a lawyer and will therefore be joining the Firm as a Principal Tax Advisor, rather than a partner.

The move is seen as part of Bakers’ strategy to hire individuals outside of mainstream law firms, with a view to competing with the Big 4 firms’ tax service offerings.

He will report to Alex Chadwick, Head of London Corporate Tax.
