SALT specialist Ned Leiby joins WTP Advisors in Chicago to lead Midwest region
Ned Leiby, a CPA, CFE with 25 years’ experience in multistate and local tax issues for large multinational corporations and middle market businesses, has been chosen to lead the Chicago office of WTP Advisors, where he will oversee the Midwest region’s growth and client service in all areas. WTP Advisors is an award-winning global tax and business advisory firm.

Ned Leiby has 25 years of experience in providing value-added tax services to Fortune 1000 and middle market businesses. Ned is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago and previously held leadership positions at a national accounting firm and served as managing director for the tax and business consulting division of American Express.
Ned specializes in state and local tax (“SALT”) matters including income/franchise, sales & use tax and unclaimed property. He assists his clients in various areas including: research and planning, compliance, nexus reviews, voluntary disclosures, audit defense, M&A due diligence for SALT issues, reverse audits, project outsourcing, tax system implementation and litigation support. His industry experience encompasses manufacturing/distribution, utility & renewable energy, retail, leasing, financial institutions, real estate, private equity, service organizations, internet retailers, and software/technology.
