Jeffrey Sion joins Dechert as FS Tax Partner in New York
Global specialist law firm Dechert LLP announced today that Jeffrey Sion has joined the firm’s financial services tax practice as a partner in New York. Sion was most recently a partner in and the National Tax Leader of KPMG’s investment management practice.
An attorney and certified public accountant (CPA), Sion advises registered and unregistered funds and investment advisors on both domestic and international tax matters. He also assists these structures on the tax implications of structuring investments as well as financial products held and transacted by these entities.

Sion is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. A graduate of Pace University School of Law (J.D.) and Lehigh University (B.S., Accounting), he is also a member of the American, New York State and New York City Bar Association Tax Committees.
