Akin Gump promotes Katz and Paulos to tax partner
Akin Gump has announced 8 promotions to the partnership. Of these two sit within the tax practice, both in New York:
Ryan Katz works with clients on a variety of domestic and international corporate transactions, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity and hedge fund investments, venture capital transactions debt financings, joint ventures, strategic alliances and corporate restructurings. Mr. Katz received his J.D. with honors from Emory University School of Law in 2001 and his B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1998.
Daniel Paulos advises on a broad range of U.S. and international tax matters, with a focus on planning and structuring complex cross-border transactions. He also regularly provides advice on the formation and operation of hedge and private equity funds. Mr. Paulos received his J.D. from Harvard University in 2005 and his B.A. from Yale University in 2000
