Former Head of Tax, Legal & Strategy at Lombard International joins Taxand as Of Counsel

Dr. Arthur Pleijsier has joined Taxand in Amsterdam as Of Counsel.

His role will focus on Transfer Pricing & Business Restructuring. For example, advising on principal structures, commissionaires, LRD’s and the setting up of manufacturing strategies.

Dr Pleijsier started his career with the Dutch Tax Authority and left as an Inspector. He spend some time as a lecturer before joining Arthur Andersen as an International Tax Manager. After 7 years he moved to EY and then into industry, initially as Senior International Tax Director at Medtronic and latterly as Head of Tax, Legal & Strategy at Lombard International (based from Luxembourg).

He holds a PhD in International Tax Law from Maastricht University.
