William Hancock, private client tax specialist, moves from Speechlys to Collyer Bristow
Collyer Bristow LLP has announced that it has recruited experienced international private client tax specialist William Hancock from Speechly Bircham, where he has been a partner since 1999. His appointment commences on 17 March 2014.
William said “Collyer Bristow has always enjoyed a strong reputation for its international private client work and I am excited to be joining an established team at a time when the firm is looking to further expand its work in this area.”
William advises a range of wealthy individuals, trusts, private banks and family offices on the establishment and on-going administration of estate planning structures. In 2012 he was seconded to Switzerland for a period of 12 months to assist with establishing a new private client office in Zurich.
William’s work extends to multi-jurisdictional issues not only for individuals in their personal capacity but also as trustees and his work often encompasses advice to private offices, overseas banks, trust corporations, charities and not for profit organisations
