John Hood joins partnership at tax boutique Gabelle

The partners of Gabelle LLP have announced that John Hood has been promoted to partner effective from 1 April 2014.

John joined Gabelle as a Director when it was established in 2011. He has over 20 years of professional experience advising professionals and their clients on how to resolve all types of HMRC enquiries and investigations.

John specialises in representing clients facing HMRC enquiries under Codes of Practice 8 and 9 run by Specialist Investigations or Civil Investigation of Fraud teams and has successfully represented high net worth individuals in all types of enquiries and can advise on all phases of an investigation.  John also has an in-depth knowledge of the Liechtenstein Disclosure Facility and how this may benefit UK resident individuals.

Before joining Gabelle, John worked for BDO LLP and Chiltern Plc and began his career working at HM Revenue & Customs.
