PwC announces 2 new tax partners in LA: Jerry Puzey and Miranda Tse
PwC has made up 2 new tax partners in Los Angeles.
Jerry Puzey, International Tax
Jerry joined PwC in 2002 after graduating from the University of Florida with a Masters in Taxation. He specialises in international tax.
Miranda Tse, Real Estate Tax
Miranda has over 20 years experience in both public accounting and private industry including a wide range of tax and business issues related to public and privately held companies.
Miranda sits within the PwC real estate practice. She has extensive consulting and compliance experience in domestic and international income tax matters relevant to the real estate industry including partnerships, REIT qualification requirements, withholdings under Foreign Investment in Real Property Tax Act (“FIRPTA”) and structuring issues for inbound investors and sovereign wealth funds, debt vs. equity analysis including earning stripping rules, due diligence and income tax audits.
Miranda has served a wide range of real estate and investment management clients, including real estate opportunity funds, REITS, and private equity funds.
Prior to joining the real estate practice, Miranda worked with large publicly held corporations and small businesses and had experience in income tax compliance and tax provision under ASC 740 and FIN 48 for corporations.
