Salamanca Group makes 2 board appointments in its Trust & Fiduciary division
Salamanca Group, the Merchant Banking and Operational Risk business, has announced two new appointments. The Trust & Fiduciary team works with international high net worth families to enable them to administer, grow and protect their wealth. It provides fiduciary, corporate and family office services from Jersey, Geneva and Mauritius.
Michael Giraud has been appointed to the board of directors of Salamanca Group Trust & Fiduciary in Jersey.
Michael is currently Head of Business Development for the Trust & Fiduciary team in Jersey, working closely with high net worth international families and their advisors to establish complex and bespoke wealth management structures. The structures hold a variety of financial and non-financial assets for families and individuals, with a focus on those connected to the UK, North America, Africa and Europe. Michael previously worked in the Cayman Islands and Jersey for RBC Wealth Management where he was responsible for the administration of large complex structures and the sourcing of new business.
Ben Le Sueur, Client Service Director, has been appointed to the board of Salamanca Group Trust (Mauritius) Ltd.
With more than 20 years of experience in offshore private client wealth management, Ben specialises in developing long term trusted relationships with high net worth international families and their advisors. Ben also oversees the two client relationship management teams who in turn are responsible for administrating all trust and corporate structures for existing Mauritius office clients.
Prior to joining Salamanca Group, Ben spent ten years in the Cayman Islands where he worked for CIBC Bank and Trust Company Limited and then Bessemer Trust Company (Cayman) Limited, in addition to spending the first five years of his career with Scotia Bank in Jersey. Educated in Jersey, UK, and France, Ben holds a BA (Hons) in European Business Studies from The University of Hull, is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
