Tax & Estate Planning Attorney Filmore Rose joins Rimon, P.C. as Partner
Rimon, P.C. has added Tax and Estate planning attorney Filmore Rose as a partner in the firm’s Seattle office.
Mr. Rose represents individuals and businesses in tax and estate planning matters, as well as the establishment and operation of charitable and tax-exempt organizations. He has been particularly active in international estate planning and foreign real estate ownership issues, representing both in-bound and out-bound clients. He has significant experience in handling wealth transfers, probate and trust administration issues, and the creation and governance of charitable endowment funds.
Additionally, Mr. Rose has been very active in business succession planning, business entity formation, and law firm administration and staff development.
Prior to working at Lane Powell, Mr. Rose was a Director at Howard Rice, a Shareholder at Hopkins & Carley and a Partner at Beck Ross Bismonte. He began his career as a law clerk to Hon. John A. MacKenzie, a U.S. District Court Judge in the Eastern District of Virginia, and he later practiced for a number of years in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He continues to practice actively in three states – Washington, California and New Mexico.
Mr. Rose received and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University Law School, a J.D. from University of Chicago Law School, and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
