EY Tax in the US recruits five new Executive Directors
EY in the US has recruited externally for 5 new executive directors. They are:
Mario Fulgieri and Blake Stevens join the Greenwich, Connecticut office of EY’s Global Compliance & Reporting practice focused on Real Estate. Fulgieri (picured) had been a principal with tax firm Frydland Stevens, LLC, where he worked since 2008. Previously, he had provided tax counsel at several law firms, including White & Case and Farrell Fritz. Fulgieri began his tax career with Deloitte in 1996. Stevens was one of the founding partners of Frydland Stevens in 2006. Prior to that role, he started up the tax practice for the Dallas office of Whitley Penn.
Pablo Hymovitz returns to EY in Business Tax Services in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He previously worked with EY from 2005 to 2008. Most recently, Hymovitz was a capital member of the law firm López Sánchez Pirillo & Hymovitz LLC. He had been Assistant Secretary for the Internal Revenue Area of the Puerto Rico Department of the Treasury from 2009 – 2011. He began his legal career with Quiñones & Sánchez, PSC as an attorney specializing in the areas of tax and commercial litigation.
Iordan Peev joins the International Tax Services of EY Chicago from PwC where he was an International Tax Director in the Global Structuring Group. He has worked at Pwc for eight years, preceded by more than two years at Jenner & Block’s Tax Group. Peev began his career at EY in St. Louis where he worked from 2001 to 2004.
Melinda Rochelle comes to EY Tax’s Private Client Services practice in Dallas. She was formerly with New York Life Insurance as a Corporate Vice President focused on wealth transfer and business succession planning services. Previously, she provided wealth transfer and closely held business planning services at other professional services firms including PwC, Grant Thornton, Cain, Watters & Associates and Arthur Andersen, as well as The Ashmore Law Firm in Dallas.
