German Tax Lawyer, Matthias Schell, joins Milbank Tweed partnership
Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP has announced the election of nine new members to the firm’s partnership, effective January 1. Only one new tax partner has been made up.
Matthias Schell is a new member of the Tax Group in Munich. Dr. Schell’s practice comprises all aspects of German and international tax law, including tax aspects of cross-border transactions and corporate reorganizations. He also advises on tax court and tax-related arbitration proceedings. The author of numerous publications on tax law and a regular panelist at tax conferences,
Dr. Schell attended the University of Augsburg, where he earned a doctorate and a Magister Legum in International Commercial Law. Dr. Schell is also a tax advisor and a certified tax lawyer. He joined Milbank in 2006.
