EY USA announces raft of senior external tax hires
EY USA continues to strengthen its tax practice in 2015 with several external appointments at partner and exec director levels:
Hiromi Ikuta joins Ernst & Young LLP as a partner in the National Tax Department for Japanese Business Services in New York. Previously a Partner with Deloitte (where she worked for over 16 years), she has provided tax services to large Japanese multinational companies. Whilst at Deloitte Hiroma was the FATCA Japan Leader and established the US Tax Desk to provide tax consulting and compliance services in Japan.
David DiFusco joins EY’s Banking and Capital Markets group in New York as an executive director. Most recently, he was the Global Head of Tax with MSCI for four years. He earned that position after 20 years with major professional services firms, including 10 years at Deloitte where he became a Managing Director.
Catherine Honey brings to EY’s Human Capital Performance Improvement practice a strong focus on global payroll consulting, having been a partner at Wipro and Mercer Consulting, a senior consultant at Watson Wyatt Worldwide, and practice manager for the Hunter Group. Most recently, Honey was with Radius/High Street Partners, managing delivery of HR, payroll, finance and accounting services. She joins EY as an executive director based in Boston.
Bethany Stanley comes to Global Compliance and Reporting group at EY and will be based in Los Angeles. Stanley joins from BDO USA, LLP where she served for 10 years, bringing extensive experience with ASC 740.
Annette King joins EY’s National Tax Department in the Indirect Tax/Affordable Care Act practice as an executive director based in Tampa. She has more than 20 years of experience with health benefits and retirement plans and will be working with clients to help them become ACA compliant. Previously, King worked in Benefits at Bloomin’ Brands and as a Director of both Benefits and Human Resources for Starbucks Coffee Company.
Trang Scott comes to EY’s National Tax Department – International Tax Services from Procter & Gamble. With P&G for 18 years, her most recent role was Regional Tax Director in Geneva, Switzerland, where she was responsible for tax operations in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Procter & Gamble, Trang had 14 years of experience in international accounting firms working in the US and Asia. Trang is an executive director based in Houston.
Jackie Taylor joins EY Tax’s HR Performance Improvement practice in New York. Her 15+ years’ experience in HR and Technology include leading the evaluation and optimization of global HR processes and technologies in an effort to align with organizational goals. She comes to EY from PVH Corp where she was a Senior Director of Global HR Systems. Jackie has a wealth of experience in industry as well as consulting having worked as Managing Director of Global Operations & Strategy for Sapien LLC as well as running NJ Workforce contracts for ACS State & Local Solutions. Jackie P Taylor is also the recipient of NJBiz’ 2015 Best 50 Women in Business Award as well as the 2015 Outstanding Women in Somerset Award for her leadership in Information Technology.
