GSK hires Alison Hughes from KPMG as Transfer Pricing Director in the UK

Alison Hughes has left KPMG’s Tax Value Chain Group to move in-house. She joined GSK in Brentford in March as TP Director.

Alison was a Senior Manager with KPMG and had worked with the Firm for the past 13 years. She sat in the newly formed Tax Value Chain Group based in London. Her role involved advising multi-national businesses how to manage the impact of multiple taxes on changes to their international business models, with the additional overlay of managing legal documentation and systems/process changes.

Alison started her career with EY but also spent just under 2 years with HMRC where she advised on CFC reform.
