Alliotts hires Jane Greenwood as Head of Global Personal Tax
Jane Greenwood has joined Alliotts’ tax team in the London office in a new role as Head of Global Personal Tax. She will be working alongside David Gibbs who joined last year as a partner specialising in international corporate tax.
Jane was previously with WMT Chartered Accountants and before that with Menzies, where she was a Senior Manager. Since 2012 she has been an adviser to the charity TaxAid.
Jane’s role at Alliotts will focus on providing international tax advice to inward investors coming into the UK. She will work with a portfolio of clients including individuals returning to the UK who need advice on what tax they need to pay and to which jurisdiction, and the internationally mobile whose affairs may involve property or other assets and income sources in several countries. She will work closely with David Gibbs who specialises in advising growing international businesses to provide all round advice to global entrepreneurs.
Jane commented: “I am returning to Alliotts to take up this exciting new role after a brief stint with them early on in my career providing temporary cover to their tax team. Alliotts has a wonderful team of people and a great workplace culture. When the opportunity to return to Alliotts with such an interesting role became available, I was extremely keen.
“My new role at Alliotts means I get to use my knowledge in a stimulating and challenging environment as the firm focuses on expanding their international tax offering. Being part of Alliott Group means that I have instant access to a global network of professional advice and contacts who can provide really first rate support to our clients.”
