Jeff Malo joins Andersen Tax from WTP

Andersen Tax has hired Jeff Malo as a Managing Director in the firm’s US National Tax office, where he will focus on federal and state research credits. He has over 15 years of experience in both tax and government service.

Prior to Andersen Tax, Jeff was a Client Tax Services Partner at WTP Advisors where he was the leader of the Research Credit and Interest and Penalty Advisory practices for the past 5 years. Before WTP Advisors, Jeff was a Trial Attorney for the United States Department of Justice Tax Division in Washington, D.C., where he litigated individual and corporate tax cases in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Earlier in his career, Jeff worked at Arthur Andersen, and other Big Four firms, where he was part of their federal and state and local tax practices.

Jeff has extensive industry knowledge in technology and manufacturing, computer sciences, pharmaceuticals, and financial services. His experience spans the full lifecycle of taxation, from planning and reporting through examination defense and controversy resolution.
