Dan O’Donovan and Brian Farrell to lead tax services at Deloitte’s new Galway office
Deloitte has announced the launch of its fifth office in Ireland, to be based in the Galway Financial Services Centre.
Brendan Jennings, Managing Partner, commented:

The tax service line will be led by Dan O’Donovan, Tax Partner and Brian Farrell.
Mr Donovan has been with Deloitte for 18 years and is currently based in Limerick, where he leads the regional tax practice. He has significant corporate tax and international tax experience, advising multinationals on investing into Ireland and domestic groups on outward investments.
He also has significant expertise in the area of corporate restructurings and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr Farrell joined Deloitte in March 2015, having previously worked within the EMEA tax team at LinkedIn. He earlier tax career was spent at KPMG. His experience includes: International tax planning, Establishment of Irish principal structures, Intellectual Property Planning, Transfer Pricing including APA’s, Tax Audit planning and defence, International Intergroup Financing, Restructuring and Reorganisations, R&D Tax Credit Analysis, Tax Accounting, VAT and Corporate tax compliance, Systems development for tax processes, Personal tax planning for high net worth individuals.
