EY USA hires senior tax professionals Michael Bowes and Mark Herzinger

EY in the US has made two senior tax hires recently.

Michael Bowes returns to EY’s International Tax Services group as a Partner in the Transfer Pricing Practice.

Bowes spent 9 years with Deloitte’s TP practice, following 4 years with EY. He began his career in 2001 as an economist with Christenson Associates after receiving his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics at the University of Oregon.

Michael is based in San Jose.

Mark Herzinger joins EY’s Financial Services Office in New York, focused on Global Compliance and Reporting. Herzinger spent 10 years working in treasury and tax departments of companies such as AIG, CIT Group, and Barclays Bank. In addition, he worked as tax counsel for nine years in professional services including PWC, as well as law firms Mayer, Brown & Platt and White & Case. Henzinger’s leadership experience spans capital markets and insurance taxation and in leading best-in-class capital markets, broker-dealer and insurance tax consulting teams.
